Q & A
Fiscal
- 1) Would The Children’s Trust be open to a multi-asset class investment portfolio (with or without illiquid alternatives)? 2) Is there an annual spending % The Children's Trust plans to draw from the portfolio? 3) Can The Children's Trust share an investment statement? Sometimes the financial statements can be a little “misleading”
- 1) Yes, we would allow for a multi-asset investment approach that fits within the requirements of our current investment policy and F.S. 112.661 2) Currently, about 95% of our annual ad-valorem tax revenues are held and liquidated for public spending in the same operating year. 20-25% is of our annual budget is currently held in our fund balance, and is not needed for liquidation to support our annual budget. 3) We currently do not have any additional investment reports to share.
